Dr Rachel Croteau- Cooper, DO, IFMCP
Dr. Rachel Croteau-Cooper, DO, IFMCP graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Family Medicine Residency training at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, PA where she served as chief resident. She is board certified through the American Board of Family Medicine. Prior to launching The Deeper Well Functional Medicine PLLC, she spent the bulk of her medical career caring for patients and families in Primary Care at Dartmouth Health in Keene, NH.
As a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Rachel has always valued a whole person, integrated approach to care. While juggling a busy medical practice, family life, leadership responsibilities and community involvement, she began to experience a decline in her own health. Due to years of chronic stress from pushing hard she developed burnout. The experience was a wake up call to dig deeper and peel back the layers to what brought her to such a depleted state. It was during this time that she made commitment to her own healing and discovered Functional Medicine.
Dr. Rachel founded The Deeper Well Functional Medicine, PLLC because she values partnering with patients to uncover their path toward healing. Her mission is to provide a refreshing healthcare space with a personalized, whole person, integrated approach to care to address the limitations often experienced in conventional medicine. As a physician Rachel finds it empowering to have the tools to determine and address the root causes of illness in order to guide people in the process of improving their health and well-being.
When she is not taking care of patients Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to live music in small venues, exploring off the beaten path places, watching the sun rise and set, traveling in a van, and being active in nature.
Through her personal and professional experience, Rachel understands what it takes to be resilient and heal. She understands the challenges and barriers that exist within each of us that often hold us back from being well. She counts it as an honor and privilege to partner with you on your health journey.
Molly Kempel
I consider myself a lifelong learner in the wellness space, determined to help others reach new heights through physical and nutritional avenues. I hold multiple certifications in the space including NBHWC Certified Health Coach, Certified Strength & Conditioning Coach from NSCA, NASM Certified Nutrition Coach and ITN Certified Transformational Nutrition coach, along with extensive coursework and continued learning in nutritional biochemistry and functional nutrition.
Over the years I’ve helped hundreds of clients, from athletes to executives, feel and perform their best through consistent, informed nutritional interventions. With so much noise in the nutrition and fitness space it’s important for me to understand both
the latest science as well as the proven foundations to help my clients cut through the
confusion and develop the protocol that fits their individuality and helps them feel their best. I believe there is no single solution and finding the best plan for you means forming a strong partnership, understanding your goals and lifestyle and working together to develop a path forward.
I was drawn to the world of Functional Medicine after searching for years for answers around my family’s rare genetic form of diabetes. Frustrated, I joined a Functional Medicine Clinic and was introduced to a entirely new standard of care. The team was willing and able to dig in with me and search for answers and I realized that there was a better way to approach medicine.
What draws me to Functional Medicine is the ability to connect with patients, hear their stories and work in a partnership to help them find a solution that works for them.
Outside of the office I enjoy ultra running, boxing, hiking, and anything that puts me outside in nature!
